Let's talk books!
The library received the Bluford Series books in February and they have been the most checked out YA books at Richardson Library! The titles in the series are Blood is Thicker, Brothers in Arms, Summer of Secrets, The Fallen, A Matter of Trust, Someone to Love Me, The Bully, The Gun, Shattered, Until We Meet Again, Lost and Found, Search for Safety, and Secrets in the Shadows. Have you read any of these Bluford books? If so, what did you think? We have found that once you start to read one, it is very hard to put it down!
Eragon by Christopher Paolini is a constant favorite at the Brunswick County Library. It is pretty awesome that Christopher Paolini wrote Eragon when he was a teenager! What do you think makes this book so popular?
Graphic novels such as Shonen Jump, Dragon Ball, and Spider-Man are popular at the Brunswick Library. What is your favorite graphic novel?
Popular YA books at both libraries are Maximum Ride: the Angel Experiment by James Patterson, and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. Can you tell us something about either of these books?
